ASOC Examination

There are four operating licences available. They are

Advanced AW/T Station Licence
Grade I AW/T Station Licence
Grade II AW/T Station Licence
Restricted AW/T Station Licence

ASOC examination has two parts:

Part I :- is the written examination comprising of Basic Electronics (Radio Theory and Practice), National and International radio rules and regulations as applicable to the operation of an amateur radio station.

Part II :- is the practical examination is sending and receiving Morse code. It is 12 words per minute (WPM) for Advanced as well as Grade I and 5 word per minute for Grade II. There is no Morse code examination for Restricted Grade licence.

These examinations are very simple and mostly objective type questions will be asked.
